My name is Getruida Stephanus, your personal Travel Counsellor.
I run a corporate and leisure travel business from Upington, but my business is digital, and I have clients from far and wide.

I am Namibian by birth and a proud mother of a 4-year-old daughter. I have been in the travel industry for over 20 years and started in the hospitality industry. Five years as a Travel, Sales, and Marketing Consultant followed, and before I joined Travel Counsellors in 2023, I ran a successful travel company for 15 years, focusing on corporate travel. I consider myself an expert in corporate travel and understand the unique requirements of business travellers.

My qualifications in the travel industry include a Diploma in Travel and Tours, various courses on fares and ticketing, and extensive training with Travel Counsellors on their groundbreaking in-house systems and technology.

The backup and support from Travel Counsellors are phenomenal, leaving me to focus on my client's needs, which is what I love to do.
Even though I'm a corporate specialist, I enjoy arranging memorable holidays for my clients.
